Frequently Asked Questions

Could I get stuck in hypnosis?

A.  No, you are in control the entire time and can choose to take yourself out of hypnosis at any time.

Can a hypnotherapist make me do our say something I don't want to, or take control of my mind?

A.   No, again, you are in control the entire time.  A lot of  misconceptions of hypnosis come from fictional portrayals, such as what we see in movies or on stage, and creating a common misplaced fear that you will lose control.  However, Integral Hypnotherapy® gives you more control by teaching you how to harness the power of your subconscious mind.

What if I fall asleep?

A.  Firstly, there is no refund for falling asleep!   By sitting more upright with good posture, you're less likely to fall asleep during our sessions.  However, if you do fall asleep, the subconscious is constantly listening, even if the conscious mind is not, so you still benefit.

How will I know if it's working?

A.  There is no "it."  There is just you and your mind.  Clients who follow my instructions start to see some benefits in 2-3 sessions. Read about former co-therapist's experiences with Morgan Hypnotherapy here.

Can everyone be hypnotized?

A.  Going into hypnosis is simply the execution of a contract.  People who want to go into hypnosis do, because they choose to. Hypnosis is a natural state of mind that everyone is capable of.

How many sessions will it take?

A. The majority of people achieve their goal in 6-8 sessions with a 93% success rate.  Some issues are resolved in fewer sessions, and if you prepay for a package of 6-8, any unused sessions remaining are transferrable to a friend or family member or applied towards a different goal.

Are the sessions in-person or online?

The quality of hypnotherapy sessions are the same quality online or in-person, therefore Morgan primarily conducts sessions online through secure video calls on Zoom.   In-person sessions are an option if you are located near Baltimore, MD
